Watercolor master copy

For an assignment we had to copy a painting, this time in watercolor. I chose to do a piece from the series of "Water Babies" by Jessie Willcox Smith.





Unfortunately I do not have a photograph of the finished piece yet. During the critic it didn't go over well, but I found out later that my teacher did really like it. My class confuses me so much sometimes... (I liked it anyways lol)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, my scanner broke and I have yet the money to get a new one. I will have a huge post once I do. Anyway, in my animation class we're working on a two minute short throughout the semester, which involves character design, story boarding, ect. Mine is about two little kids who have adventures in their backyard


These are my two characters, Vince and Qi. Vince looks terrifying, I was trying to make his eyes big and exited looking, ha ha

A turn around for Qi, I love her side/ponytail and pacifier. If anyone wants to throw some critic in here before I get ripped apart in class please do ;)
