Updated illustration III work
Hey all, just some work from Illustration III. (Newest to old)
Illustrating a story called "Tonto Woman". It's set around 1850s, about this woman who was kidnapped by Native Americans when she was very young, and they tattooed her face. (The editor wanted the artist to focus on the tattoos) It was a story that was published a while back, but we worked from the original editor's email.
A spot illustration for a town with a lot of strange police reports. One of them was about intoxicated squirrels, so I chose to make a somewhat postcard out of it. (One of my favorite assignments so far lol)
Illustrating the poem "Jaberwalky". I liked messing with the tree ideas in this
Our first assignment, choose one word and illustrate it. I chose "affection", and I really got into tigers recently, so this was a lot of fun.

Artwork Ahoy
Hello all! Finally got a scanner, so I've uploaded a lot of my schoolwork over the semester finally.
Both graphits were for Illustration, a portrait of someone you knew without actually just showing their face. The first one is a friend of mine who loves her pet rats, and the second is someone who loves trees.
An Illustration to show movement~
A childrens book illustration, I chose to do "On top of Spaghetti"
This illustration was about time and space, so I did a native american telling the stories of the stars
This was a master copy of Leyendecker
This is a page of some journal comics I've been doing all semester for my comics class. Basically we just draw 3 to 5 panel comics about our everyday lives. I didn't realize till now that the last one is incomplete, ha ha
These last two comics were of the same story, but done from different views for comics.
A CD cover I did for illustration for the band Run D.M.C.
This is actually a painting I did last semester, and found while looking for stuff to put into my school's open house. I just love how silly this is, so wanted it on my blog
That's it for now, I haven't done much of my own artwork this semester

Watercolor master copy
For an assignment we had to copy a painting, this time in watercolor. I chose to do a piece from the series of "Water Babies" by Jessie Willcox Smith.
Unfortunately I do not have a photograph of the finished piece yet. During the critic it didn't go over well, but I found out later that my teacher did really like it. My class confuses me so much sometimes... (I liked it anyways lol)
